I am 8 weeks pregnant and the morning sickness is getting worse. I am vomitting the whole day and i feel tired coz of that. I work eight hours a day and keep on running to the toilet coz of the vomitting. Anyone knows any remedies for the morning, afternoon, evening and nite sickness. Please help.
Hi. I had the same thing and I got totally dehydrated. My Dr. put me on zofran, and it did wonders. I lost 15 pounds during that time. My morning sickness stopped at exactly 12 weeks. What a relief. I really only had to take about 1/4 of the zofran a day, and it really helped. I also agree with the potato chip theory. They helped too! If you are taking prenatal vitamins, you may want to lay off for a day or two. My Dr. took me off all of my vitamins for about 4 days. Good luck, and hang in there. I hope this helps! (+ info
I have tried everything to the prenatal vitamins that my obstetrician's medical asst prescribed for me to iced tea with lemon and saltine crackers and nothing helps to ease it. What has helped with anyone of you that has had really bad morning sickness like I'm experiencing right now. I just feel so miserable
Try ginger ale. I also have heard that eating many small meals throughout the day help. Hope you feel better soon! (+ info
I am 7 weeks pregnant and feel nauseated all the time. What is the best way to help combat morning sickness (or should I say all day sickness!)?
And for those Mum's out there, did you find you had more morning sickness with your girls or boys? I have a 2 and a half year old son and we would really love a girl this time around :) So far the symptoms I've been having this time around are quite different to when I had my son! Having said that we're happy whatever we have as long as it's healthy.
My doctor prescribed Promethazine for me. It's a once a day anti nausea medication. Also If you try eating smaller meals more frequently like five meals a day instead of three that helps too. Also sometimes eating a granola bar at night can help too.
Personal experience when I was pregnant with my boy I had horrible morning sickness for six months all day and night.
With my girl I didn't really have it past three months. The feeling is different and so are the hormones.
Every pregnancy is different for every person though.
Good luck! (+ info
Girlfriend is pregnant, she is having morning sickness a lot. She pukes about 4 times a day. Is that normal when you are pregnant? She also gags a lot but usually doesnt puke sometimes.
Yep, I've heard that can be normal. The good news is, the sickness usually subsides after the first trimester. Good luck! (+ info
how long after your missed period and finding out your pregnant (on average) does the morning sickness begin?
Everyone is different. Some people experience morning sickness straight away and others not all all.
Generally though it starts at 5-6 weeks (so about 1-2 weeks after you miss your period) and it usually settles down at about 11-12 weeks.
Hopefully you are one of the luckey ones that don't get sick at all =)
All the best hun!
O.K. I WENT THROUGH THE FIRST TRIMESTER WITH VERY MINOR SICKNESS!!! I ONLY THREW UP ONCE! BUT NOW THAT I'M IN MY SECOND TRIMESTER I FEEL SICK AND NAUSIOUS ALL THE TIME!!! WHAT'S THE DEAL AND WHAT CAN I DO THE CHANGE THIS? SOMETIMES I GET HEADACHES TOO! IS IT A COMBINED THINK OR WHAT?
Okay, morning sickness is actually all day every day sickness...or it was for me when I was pregnant. I took a B6 vitamin every day and ate french fries (potatoes are an excellent source of B6). This will help with the nausea. The headaches may be a part of it also, or it may be something else: your eyesight changing (cause it does), beginnings of preeclampsia, new allergies, whatever. Ask your doctor about the headaches, especially if you are starting to swell up too! (+ info

Does morning sickness last all day and how early in pregnancy can it start?
I am a week and a half late on my period. Yesterday I woke up very nauseated but it went away around noon. Today i woke up a little more nauseated than yesterday and it is about to be 4pm and i still feel nauseated. Could i have a virus or could it be morning sickness?
I got morning sickness around 2 1/2 months and for me it was more like all day sickness, but when I first got morning sickness it was just in the morning. If you have other symptoms than you might be, take a test (+ info
