How can I cure my hypersensitivity to mosquito bites?

When I get bit, the bite area usually swells up to be the size of a golf ball to the size of a grapefruit. My latest on is on my knee and swelled up so much I couldn't walk. I have been placed on antibiotics and in the past prednisone.

I don't like to be on medication if I can avoid it, are there any suggestions to how I can curb my hypersensitivity to mosquito bites?

Is it cent percent sure that after circumcision the hypersensitivity of my glans will go for ever?

I am suffering from phimosis. Circumcision is the only way. But if my hypersensitivity of glans will not go, I cant wear any dress.

Please answer to the question only.It is urgent. Don't advise me to avoid circumcision.

After circumcision, some guys, especially those who had it done because of phimosis and therefore never really had the head exposed before, will find the glans become extremely sensitive to touch,
However, overtime it will become used to it, from rubbing against things like clothing, and you will no longer feel so sensitive. Just one of those things you might have to put up with while it heals, if you have circumcision.  (+ info)

Where can I get a nut free chocolate and cake?

I am allergic to nuts and I need to buy nut free food for my party this weekend. Do you know any supermarkets that sell it? I know a website called 'its nut free', but it takes too long to arrive.

Any grocery store that has a bakery (or even a bakery) will take special orders and make per your instructions. I have a close friend that is allergic to nuts also and when I cook and bake for our clubs concession stand.... I keep this in mind and make special things without nuts... like brownies "with" and "without"....

There are many chocolates on the market that don't have nuts... Hersheys is a main one for you to look into.

The cake mixes on the market are almost fail proof... you could try that too.

What kind of nuts are good in banana nut bread?

I know the recipe usually calls for walnuts, but I only have chopped pecans and am too lazy to go to the store. Do you think pecans are good in banana nut bread, or should I just get off my lazy butt and go get some walnuts?

Any suggestions on how to get meat out of a Brazil nut?

I just bought a bag of unshelled raw brazil nuts and I'm having a terrible time getting the things shelled. It seems like the nuts are trying their very hardest to stay attached to the shell. I end up cracking them and flipping half the shell across my kitchen and then spend 10 minutes gouging the nut out. Somehow those people at Planter's manage to sell whole Brazil nuts, so I know it must be possible.

Are there any tricks to unshelling Brazil nuts or am I really that uncoordinated?

I think the nuts are too fresh. If you let them age the skin will pull away from the shell. I don't know how long. Try it again in a week or more. Brazil nuts should be the easiest to shell. The nuts are large and solid. I can't stand shelling walnuts. If You see me around a can of nuts, Trust me you won't see any brazil nuts.

What is the best toffee nut syrup I can buy easily?

I really liked the toffee nut lattes starbucks had over the holidays but hate spending 4 bucks on a drink. So I got my own cappuccino maker and want to make my own. I would like to know if anyone has tried the different brands of toffee nut syrups out there (Torani, Monin, etc?) and their opinions on which are the best.. Or are "official" starbucks syrups any better? Thanks!

How to make a banana-nut muffin that tastes good & the ingredients can be found at home no matter what ?

This recipe has to be for banana-nut muffins & has no cinnamon in it . Please be honest and make sure the recipe is good !

2 c Unbleached Flour, Sifted
3 ts Baking Powder
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Shortening
1 c Sugar
2 ea Large Eggs
1 1/3 c Mashed Ripe bananas (3 Med.)
1 c Chopped Walnuts

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
Cream together shrtening and sugar in bowl until light
and fluffy, using electric mixer at medium speed.
Beat in eggs, one at a time, blending well after each
addition. Stir in mashed bananas. Add dry ingredients
all at once, stirring just enough to moisten. Gently
mix in chopped nuts. Spoon batter into greased 3-inch
muffin-pan cups, filling 2/3rds full.
Bake in 350 degree F. oven 20 minutes or until golden
brown. Serve hot with homemade jam or jelly.

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

8 oz can walnuts-coarsely crushed
2 c oats
3 c flour
1 TB baking powder
2 ts baking soda
1 ts salt
4 ripe bananas
1 c milk
1 c honey
4 TB melted butter
1 egg

In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup chopped walnuts and 2
tablespoons oats, set aside. In a large bowl, mix
remaining nuts, oats, flour, baking powder, baking
soda, and salt. In another bowl, mash bandannas (you
should have 2 cups). Beat in milk, honey, melted
butter, and egg until well blended. Stir in banana
mixture into flour, mix until just moistened. Spoon
into muffin cups. Sprinkle with reserved walnut-oat
mixture. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Immediatly remove
from pans. Makes 12 muffins.

2 c Quaker Oat Bran Cereal
1/4 c Firmly packed Brown Sugar
2 ts Baking Powder
1/2 ts Salt (optional)
1 c Skim or 2% lowfat Milk
2 Egg Whites, slightly beaten
1/4 c Honey or Molasses
2 tb Vegetable Oil

Heat oven to 425 degrees. Line 12 medium muffin cups
with paper baking cups or spray bottoms only with
vegetable oil cooking spray. Combine dry ingredients.
Add milk, egg whites, honey and oil; mix just until
dry ingredients are moistened. Fill prepared muffin
cups almost full; bake 15 to 17 minutes or until
golden brown. 1 dozen

VARIATIONS: Add to batter any one of the following:

Raisin Nut Muffins-1/4 cup raisins and 1/4 cup
chopped nuts
Banana Nut Muffins-1/2 cup mashed banana (about 1
medium) and
1/4 cup chopped nuts
Blueberry Muffins -1/2 cup fresh or frozen

NOTE: To freeze, wrap muffins securely; store in
freezer up to 3 months. To reheat frozen muffins in
microwave oven, microwave at HIGH 25 to 30 seconds for
each muffin.
