If you read the rain-tree entry for Chanca piedra it is stated that in1990 a Nicole Maxwell reported that Dr. Wolfram Wiemann (of Nuremburg, Germany) treated over 100 kidney stone patients with chanca piedra obtained in Peru and found it to be 94% successful in eliminating stones within a week or two.

It has to be worth trying but I would only take in consultation with your doctor. Plus don't take anything herbal without consulting a doctor first if you are on prescribed meds as there is a phenomenon known as herb-drug interactions so you need to know if this could occur with your meds. Also if you are going to take it find a supplier that supplies from a sustainable eco-friendly source.

i got it during my vacation in mexico. the doctor gave me ketoconazole shampoo at first. Told me to wash my hair twice a week. It improved a little but my hair still fell. I cut my hair short and the doctor gave me ketoconale pills to take. Is there anything else I could do? What shampoos can i use when i dont wash my hair with ketoconazole?

Anyone every try Chanca Piedra also known as Royal Break-Stone for Gallstones?

I went to the hospital last October (for heart related issues) and they found I had gallstones. They determined that they weren’t serious and did nothing. I talked to my doctor and he said the same but I am sick most days with all the symptoms of someone who has gallstones. I was given prescription pills and still no improvement. I then decided to take a chance and buy Chanca Piedra online. It is claimed that they can break and expel the stones. It says that side effects are cramping during the expulsion of stones. I had really bad cramping 1 week ago and no stomach or back problems since! I eat what I want too! I am really hoping I am cured. I go to the doctor a week from now and I will hopefully have another ultrasound soon. I am really just curious if anyone else has tried these pills and if they helped.
I tried to buy them once, but could not find anyone who sold them.
