I had a tropical mojito at Joe's Crabshack and loved it. I want to make some up, but I can't find a recipe for it. This had fruit juice in it and all of the recipes I've found don't have juice in them. Anyone know what kind of juices are in this mojito?
there are many variants of mojitos, mostly subing out some of the simple syrup for a tropical fruit juice, like this one

1 ½ oz. Rum
1/2 oz. Mojito Mix Syrup/ simple syrup
1 oz. Mango Syrup
½ oz. Fresh Lime Juice
2 Mint leaves

Does anyone know how to make the smoothies that they make at the Tropical Smoothie Cafes? I've watched them put in the fruit and I am assuming sugar and ice but do they use milk too? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks =)
Not familiar with the Tropical SMoothie Cafe, but I will give a few suggestions.
You are right about the ice.
You do not need to add sugar, the fruits have a ton of natural sugar, frutose, that accounts for the sweetness, sugar would just make it unhealthy.
Typically, one would not add milk either, but either frozen yogurt, ice cream (decreases the healthiness), or I tend to use just regular vanilla yogurt.  (+ info)

When I was younger, my grandma (step) visited Panama and brought back a rare tropical infection that had me sick for a few months. It caused a kidneys and liver infection. What's the name of it?
Hhhm, you got me curious, so i did some research.
The only tropical infection i could find that attacks both kidney and liver is schistosomiasis.Its caused by several flatworms of the genus schistosoma. Other tropical diseases like yellow fever or malaria cause 'only' kidney problems up to kidney failure but not liver infections.

I would like to know how many calories are in this smoothie-- nothing added i don't think-- I just ask the guy for a strawberry beach, is there something that tropical smoothie cafe puts in the smoothie like spenda or something?
They put:
1 cup of strawberries
4 tablespoons of yogurt and 1/4 cup turbanado
And ice
But with a splenda its
1/4 teaspoon

Turbanado=451 calories

I know its a random question. :) So, I've been wondering for some reason, what are the different fruits used in tropical and fruit punch? I don't have any at the house, but I drank some of each at a party I went to a week ago.

fruit punch recipe

Ingredients:
* 1/2 cup honey
* 3 cups orange juice
* 3 cups pineapple juice
* 3 cups grapefruit juice
* 1/4 cup lime juice
* 1 cup rum(Exclude if you want)
* 1 cup finely chopped pineapple
* 4 tins ginger ale
* 1 cup small melon pieces
* 1 orange seeded and thinly sliced
Directions
1. Combine together orange, pineapple, grapefruit and limejuice.
2. Sweeten to taste with honey and chill for a few hours.
3. Just before serving stir in ginger ale, rum, pineapple pieces and melon balls.
4. Garnish with orange slices.
5. Serve with crushed ice.


Tropical Punch

Ingredients:
* 3 cups water
* 3/4 cup sugar
* 3 ripe bananas
* 1 can (46 ounces) pineapple juice, chilled
* 1-1/2 cups orange juice
* 1/4 cup lemon juice
* 1 bottle (2 liters) ginger ale, chilled
Directions:
In a blender, blend water, sugar and bananas until smooth and sugar is dissolved. Pour into a large bowl; stir in remaining ingredients. Serve immediately. Yield: 40 servings (1/2-cup).


Citrus punch recipe

Ingredients:
* 1 gallon orange juice
* 1 gallon cranberry juice
* 1 (15-ounce) can pineapple juice
* 6 limes, halved
* 6 lemons, halved
* 6 oranges, halved
* 4 cups mandarin vodka
* 4 cups citron vodka
Directions:
Combine the orange, cranberry, and pineapple juices in a large container. Add the 2 vodkas and the halved fruits to the punch. Transfer to the refrigerator and chill over night.

I want to buy tropical exotic fruits on the internet but I can't find a site that will ship organic exotic fruits. There are sites that have a variety of organic fruits, but no organic vanilla sapotes, sapotes, cherimoyas, guavas, passion fruit, magosteen etc. I found one, but the shipping is outrageous. If you can give me a site that ships reasonably priced organic fruits (particularly sapotes and cherimoyas) I would be ever so appreciative. Thanks.
