Have you ever had a blocked sweat gland that was swollen in your vagina?

I have a swollen, blocked sweat gland that has gotten infected. I have to put hot compresses on it 3 times a day and take an antibiotic.

Has anyone else ever had this? I keep saying that I have a blocked Who-Ha:) It is painful too.

when its cold outside and then i go into someplace warm my armpits start to sweat what should i do ive tried changing dedorants but nothing seems to work....any suggestions?
Believe it or not, some people do not know that not all deodorants have antiperspirant ingredients in them. The choices you have at the store are:
-Deodorant
-Antiperspirant Deodorant

I've had them once before, in the other arm, so I know what it is. I'm getting pus and blood from it. I was put on antibiotics before, but I'd rather not have to make a trip to the doctor and pharmacy if I don't absolutely have to... Advice please?

And yes, I do know not to wear deodorant while it's infected.
You can try the hot packs if you want, but don't let it get worse. I had one the size of a golfball in my groin, and now have one on the other side. It takes forever to burst, and when it does, it stays open. You really should have it lanced, not all antibiotics will shrink it. Try neopsorin, keep it covered so nothing irritates it, it's hard to say if it will heal once it bursts..it is a very hard place to heal on it's own.  (+ info)

My head gets stinky when I sweat due to the Apocrine Sweat glands. Apocrine glands is triggered by emotions like, Anxiety, nervousness etc.

If I go to a Dermatologist, will they help cure it? I know that you can get your Apocrine gland removed via Surgery, but thats a little too extreme.

Boy, that would be a tough spot to have overactive sweat glands!! Not sure if you are male or female but very short hair would help.....as would a hair gel that contains alcohol to dry the scalp and also cleanse it really thoroughly to keep bacteria to a minimum that is causing the odor. Can ask the dermatologist about chloraphyl......supposed to sort of 'color' odors in excessive sweat.  (+ info)

I have done alot of research on Hyperhydrosis ( condition of excessive underarm sweating). I have had it all my life. Topical treatments, deodorants, etc DO NOT WORK. I am considering options and botox sounds dangerous and so does the sugery in which they cut your sweat nerve. Im reading up on Sweat Glad Suction. Have you had it? What was your experience?
