Brown - Sequard Syndrome?

My wife was diagnosed with Brown - Sequard Syndrome from a car accident in August 2001. She regained most of her movement back excpet in her right arm and hand. She still gas severe pain and a great deal of spasticity. Almost two years ago she had an operation where three vertabre were removed from her neck and a titanium mesh implanted.. She is still not recovered to the point that she was at before the surgery. I need to know who is considered the number one specialits in the country. Please help me.
I'm not sure where you are, have you tried googled for a specialist in your area? Or you could contact the neurological disorders association your state, to get a name of a good doctor.

I assuming she been assessed by a neurologist. And has also seen a orthopedic specialist, physical therapist, and a occupational therapist?

They will work out what her limitations and strengths, and area's where she needs assistance.

The neurologist hopefully will be able to help with the pain and spasticity.

i never heard of that and i had shingles they hurt like crazy. it is a form of mealses.only you get them when you are older.it is like a rash that starts in the middle of your back.and goes around your side it can be your right side or your left.they are like blisters.and painfull.  (+ info)

Why do many people with Down's Syndrome have brown hair?

Is this just a coincidence or is there a relationship between Down's Syndrome and brown hair? I know that it is not an absolute, as I have seen one or two blondes, but for the most part, they tend to have brown hair.
I would say that where I live, San Diego, at least 25% of the population has naturally blonde hair, including myself. Keep in mind that this is just my estimate, based on my acquaintances, and thinking of the ratio of blondes vs. brunettes.
I have a24 year old brother with downs, blonde hair and blue eyes. Eye, and hair colour are not determined by down syndrome. All it means is that they have an extra chromosome on chromosome #21. This does effect facial features (mild to severe) also stunts growth to a small degree as well as other characteristics. Along with mild to severe retardation. Down Syndrome is not a genetic "disease" or affliction and happens in 1 out of every 800-1000 live births. Hair colour and eye colour are determined as they would be in anyone, parental DNA.  (+ info)

1 in 25 infants are born with strabismus.

So I would guess 1 in 10000 - 11250 people have it on Earth.

3 days ago, I left a tampon in for 15 hours. I feel fine (no fever or rashes) but I got this light brown discharge. This discharge just stopped today, but my private area smells terrible. I know toxic shock syndrome is rare, but how long would it take to affect me? and because of the terrible smell, I might have some kind of bacteria growth. What should i do about that?

I've encountered 3 separate woman over the past month that share the same bizarre physical traits. Patchy rough facial hair and terribly disgusting teeth. It appears the teeth are brown and rotting. It's a terrible sight. Are these two things related? Or is it just coincidental? Maybe a medication causes this? Or a genetic disorder?
