I usually use Too Faced Lash Injection but it is like $20.00 plus I would have to pay for shipping and I don't have the money for it right now, so what is the best drug store mascara out there? I haven't shopped for mascara at the drug store in forever so I don't really know what's out there.

How many people are in drug and alcohol treatment each year in the US?

I am doing a research paper on drugs and alcohol for a college health class. Does anyone know a website that gives the number of people admitted each year to drug and alcohol center. I know it is a lot of people, but I need actually numbers, and a website to cite. Thanks.
----------

In 2005, 1.3 million received treatment for the use of alcohol but not illicit drugs.

This includes treatment received in the past year at any location, such as a hospital (inpatient), rehabilitation facility (outpatient or inpatient), mental health center, emergency room, private doctor's office, prison or jail, or a self-help group, such as Alcoholics Anonymous Persons could report receiving treatment at more than one location. Specialty treatment only includes treatment at a hospital (inpatient), a rehabilitation facility (inpatient or outpatient), or a mental health center.

Submitting a urine drug sample. How long does it take for all alcohol to be out of the body?

My buddy has to submit a urine sample at the alcohol and drug screening services facility by wednesday. He said he was out drinking last night. How long does it take for alcohol to be completely out of the body's system? 24 hrs? He is probably going in on tuesday to submit his sample. Would that be enough time?
----------

The alcohol will be out of his system, but they also test for by-products of alcohol metabolization. Some urine tests can determine any alcohol use within a five-day period. I don't know what kind of test they are using. Check out this site, it explains a lot of things: http://www.alcohol-test-info.com/ Also, don't overdo it on drinking water or taking vitamins - some people have died from "water intoxication" (hyponatremia) or vitamin toxicity!  (+ info)

What are the negative consequences of drug use and abuse?

I also need the contacts to various support groups and community services that can help with quitting addiction, for example Kids Help Line (the contacts of which I also need). Please include suggestions for making decisions regarding drug use. I'd also like POSITIVE alternitives to drug use.

Negatve effects of drugs. Well lets see , lost of family connections, stealing, need for more drugs which leads to dishonesty, possibly rape, sexually transmitted diseases, lost of motor skills, accidential overdose and worst of all Death. What are some good contacts, try Church and seeking Christ. Kids obviously give into peer pressures, make a strong connection with your kids. Parents actually who spend time with their kids develop a strong bond and will be able to tell if there is anything going on. Also monitor who their friends are. Once you have done that you have set the foundation for a solid friendship. But also remember you have to be a parent too. I know growing up when I was a teen I had a strong base of friends through church that helped me stay straight. There are also good things to be done at school, the Fellowship of Chrisian Athletes et cetra..Also let them know that staying away from drugs makes it easier to gain employment. In this day and age there is always going to be a drug test. If they are also drug free, then applying for scholarships is easy, because there is now a spot on the applications for prior drug use and arrests, which they go hand and hand.  (+ info)

What are other parents observing about drug and alcohol use in older teens and college age kids?

OK, so I know its a bad economy, and jobs are hard to get. So, my kid is home from college, and hanging with friends. The drug use amoung his peers is pretty high ( pun intended), and frequent. Is anybody eles seeing this. I have older children all grown up and away, and I don't rmember this amount of overuse of drugs back 6-8 years ago .. Is this an outcome of a bad ecomony where young adults feel limited in making progress in their lives? What are you seeing in your area?

Why do Drug addicts make themselves believe that drugs are good for you?

I see so many drug addicts and every time I here them talking about drugs (which they do a lot, it is their whole life) they are talking about how good it is for you and it makes you smarter and whatnot.

Napoli gave a perfect answer to this ignorant question. Bring me some scientific evidence that occassional soft drug use (Psilocybin, THC, LSD, MDMA, MDA, 2C-X) poses risk of addiction or long term mental harm. Look at some of the people who have taken these drugs. PhD Alexander Shulgin synthesized and used over 230 different drugs. Aldous Huxley, one of the best writers and thinkers ever, used LSD and mescaline all the time. Albert Hoffman, the man who discovered LSD, took a dose 20 times the standard unknowingly. Since then hes taken it multiple times, and died at the age of 102.

Its your type of ignorance that fueled racism 50 years ago. Dont make irrational assumptions based on propaganda, a$$hole  (+ info)

What is the best drug store deep conditioner?

I am sick of paying $50 for a deep conditioner? What is a good drug store one? What shampoo and conditioner would you recommend?
----------

I think most of them will do the trick. However, look at the ingredients. It really helps if you put some plastic wrap over you hair and use a blow drier to help the conditioner penetrate. the V05 hot oils/cremes also work really well. Avoid pantene, it will make your hair silkier and shinier, but its not really helping -its just coating it with wax. also using a clarifier before deep conditioning helps.  (+ info)

How will I be able to find drug rehabs in Succasunna, New Jersey?

I want to know how I will get to find drug rehabs. This is for a friend of mine who has gotten himself into bad company. He was the kind of person who used to shy away from stuff like drugs, but now he's changed. It's like I don't know him anymore. However, I think he's planning to change again-- for the better now. And I really want to help him.
----------

I think it's great that your friend is finally going to get himself treated for his addiction. To find drug rehabs, you can check out the links that I have provided below. These are going to be able to help you in your search. Calling a helpline, such as 800-559-9503, may be helpful too. I really hope he gets well soon. Just keep on being there for him.  (+ info)
