What natural remedies would you recommend for slipped disc- and hip joint pain?
Have had a slipped disc and as I get oder the pain never really goes away. I don't want to use conventional NSAIDs as I had nephritis twice as a child. Now I notice I'm also getting a pain in my hip joint when I lie on it. I'd like to know if there are natural remedies that work for relief of chronic pain.
* Lie on your back with your knees bent. Keep your back in a neutral position — not overly arched and not pressed into the floor. Avoid tilting your hips up.
* Cough to activate your core muscles. Holding the contraction in your abdominal muscles, raise your hips off the floor.
* Align your hips with your knees and shoulders. Hold this position and take three deep breaths — or for about five to eight seconds.
* Return to the start position and repeat. For a challenge, try alternately extending one knee while maintaining the bridge position.

I recommend the pork leg or the pork shoulder, season it with your favorite seasoning and spices, roast it at about 350 degrees F in the oven. I also recommend you cook it all the way through(no pink left in the middle, the meat should be brown all the way through.) I also recommend using an injector, where you can inject garlic and scallions into the meat to build flavor. Cover the meat for the first 30 to 45 minutes of the cooking then uncover it to give the exterior of the meat some color.

What can I do about joint pain while working out?
I've been using the bench press for about a month now, and I've had great results. The problem is, about three days ago I developed joint pain in and around my shoulders. I don't want to stop using the bench press because it's the best piece of workout equipment I have and I've gotten fantastic results. Is there something I can do to stop this pain?
Just use lighter weights. And don't excercise every day- do something like every 3 days you take a break, or at least use light weights. I'd also try using OTHER excersise equipment as well.

What causes the enlargement of the shoulder ball joint?
I just had surgery on my right shoulder and was told that the ball joint was about twice the size as the other side. What could cause this? I have rheumatoid arthritis and I have several malformed joints already. I was just wondering if overuse and doing things that I should not have done alone could have contributed to this. Please help me find the answer. I am very concerned about this because of passing something down to my children.

How to keep juice of joint in roasting tin to make gravy with?
I am about to roast a pork joint in a roasting tin and from experience all the juice evaporates as you would expect so how do i make gravy. The last time i cooked a chicken i added several cups of water but that evaporated as well. How to you do it?
You will still have fat in the pan and sticky bits stuck to the bottom. After removing the meat, put the roasting tin on the hob over a moderate heat and gradually add flour, blending it in to make a paste. Cook it for a minute or two (to get rid of the floury taste) then begin to add the water that you cooked your vegetables in. Add it very gradually, stirring all the time, and scraping at the bottom of the tin with a wooden spoon to pick up all the bits. They should come away fairly easily. For an extra tasty gravy, substitute some of the water for wine. Keep adding liquid until you have the consistency you require, and allow to bubble for about a minute (to cook off the alcohol). I would recommend avoiding Bisto at all costs. It is highly flavoured and very salty and will drown the lovely tones of your meat juices and wine. (+ info
