I am seeking information on ways to reduce white cell counts in Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia?

are there any herbals.naturopathic, mineral suggestions in assisting the reduction of white cell count for Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia?

Pranayam will help to reduce the white cell count in chronic lymphatic leukemia and will help the body to fight the cancer.Over long term you will recover fully.
The pranayam techniques:
Bhastrika - Take a long deep breath into the lungs(chest not tummy) via the nose and then completely breathe out through the nose.Duration upto 5 minutes.

Kapalbhati -(Do it before eating) Push air forcefully out through the nose about once per second. Stomach will itself go in(contract in). The breathing in(through the nose) will happen automatically. Establish a rhythm and do for 20 to 30 minutes twice a day.(Max 60 min/day) Not for pregnant women. Seriously ill people do it gently.

Anulom Vilom - Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 20 to 30 minutes twice a day(maximum 60 minutes in one day).
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.

Bhramri Pranayam -Close eyes. Close ears with thumb, index finger on forehead, and rest three fingers on base of nose touching eyes. Breathe in through nose. And now breathe out through nose while humming like a bee.
Duration : 5 to 10 times

Only by doing you will benefit and will feel good that you can do something to help the body.Copy and print this to improve your technique and stay focused. This is simplified pranayam for everyone and you do not have to go to classes to learn. This is for life, unlike short term classes where you do it in the class then stop when classes are over.  (+ info)

What are the symptoms and causes of brain tumors and are there treatments?

I was wondering if someone could tell me what the symptoms and causes of brain tumors are and if there are any treatments. Someone had told me that they have a brain tumor that is terminal and it cannot be treated because it had gone unnoticed for about 5 years and since it has grown with their brain, it cannot be removed by a surgery and it cannot be treated. Is it really possible that there is no treatment at all?

A tumor is a pretty general thing. "A tumor...is the name for a swelling or lesion formed by an abnormal growth of cells"[wiki:tumor]. Such growths are especially serious in the brain, because they can do damage not only through their biological properties (how it will spread) but also through their physical properties (the force the exert on the brain). Benign tumors no longer spread, malign tumors are cancerous.

Treatment for brain tumors includes surgical options (remove it) as well as radiation and chemotherapy. Surgery is not always possible, as the tumor may be buried to close to crucial parts of the brain. The more a tumor has spread the lower the chances of successful surgical removal.

With all forms of cancer, early detection provides by far the most positive outcome.  (+ info)

What can cause a blood vessel to burst in eye?

I was just recently traveling and I think the blood vessel burst is from that. Is that possible? Can be caused by being around pets?

rubbing or straining can cause this. Sometimes they happen spontaneously. Usually nothing to worry about.  (+ info)

Is there a correlation between brain tumors and antidepressants?

I've always been against antidepressants use for long periods of time. I don't have a problem with people using them for some time. But when it becomes something that you have to keep taking for the rest of your life, that's when I ask: what are the long term effects of antidepressants? Is there a correlation between brain tumors and antidepressants?

I seek intelligent answers only.

Thank you.

I have never heard of brain tumours as a result of long term anti-depressant use. The newer anti-depressants (SSRI's) Help the person keep their own serotonin. If someone needs to take them forever then so be it.  (+ info)

How can I progress the healing of a burst blood vessel in my eyes?

I've been sick {coughing, fever, sore throat, congestion} for around 4 days and from the energy I guess of my coughing I burst a blood vessel in my eyes. How can I progress the healing in some way to heal the blood vessel?

Hi Gaga.

Most of the time, the signs of the burst blood vessel clear up without treatment, usually within 10 days. You may be able to prevent recurrences by taking vitamin C, about 200 mg a day, which helps strengthen the walls of little blood vessels, and also by taking grape seed extract or pycnogenol, which contain antioxidant pigments that do the same. That way, heaing should progress faster.

Can anyone recommend any nutritional supplements that help clean out the lymphatic system? Herbs or minerals?

I do get lymphatic drainage massages but I have a lot of congestion and, no, I do not have an infection or, if I do, it's something really chronic and not noticeable. I suspect that I have some sort of nutritional imbalance, I lack something that the lymphatic system needs to work properly. Any suggestions?

Do the meal plan for the first link in my YA profile and you can also use Natures Sunshine Lymph Drain suppliment.

I suggest the meal plan over anything else. It will make your body alkaline in about 8 weeks. If it is something chronic it will change.

Email me if you have questions.  (+ info)

How do I get rid of a busted blood vessel in my eye?

You know when the blood vessel busts in your eye and you have that red patch on the white part of your eye? How do I get rid of that red? a friend told me to pour some witch hazel in my eye but Im not so sure...does anyone have any suggestions or remedies?

DO NOT..i repeat...DO NOT put witch hazel in your eye... it can burn and lead to corneal damage.
The only cure for for a busted blood vessel in your eye is time. It will eventually turn brown, like old blood does and then flush away.
I am sorry there is nothing more I can offer, but I hope it resolves quickly for you.

P/S... how did you bust the vessel in your eye? You don't have hypertension or increased intraocular pressure? If you aren't sure what caused it please check into with your healthcare provider because it could be something more serious!  (+ info)
