Cephalosporins (Antibiotics, Cephalosporin)

A group of broad-spectrum antibiotics first isolated from the Mediterranean fungus acremonium. They contain the beta-lactam moiety thia-azabicyclo-octenecarboxylic acid also called 7-aminocephalosporanic acid.
