Hyperparathyroidism, Primary

A condition of abnormally elevated output of parathyroid hormone due to parathyroid hyperplasia or parathyroid neoplasms. It is characterized by the combination of hypercalcemia, phosphaturia, elevated renal 1,25-DIHYDROXYVITAMIN D3 synthesis, and increased bone resorption.
